Friday Roundup

OMG, I almost forgot this and the day’s almost over.
- Carole Fogarty at the Healthy Living Lounge explains why mess is not clutter.
- Antishay Ventenne tells us how to embrace hobbies without breaking the bank.
- Johnathan Fields at Awake @ The Wheel thinks it is possible to teach compassion. Gee, I hope so. I’ve known a few people who could use it.
- Big Bright Bulb shares Impression or Illusion? 4 Ways to NOT Bullshit Customers. Aaand now I’m wondering what the heck BBB reads on the intarwebs in her spare time.
- Cleochatra at The Lighter Side of Low-Carb shares her recipe for almost carb-free crisp taco bowls. (Now, of course once you put things in the taco bowl, there will be carbs. But good ones. Good carbs=veggies. Take that, South Beach.)

Howdy
I try to avoid the Web’s back alleys, but every once in a while I eavesdrop on my hubby’s Reddit journeys. Some truly fun and freaky stuff links there, and I had to share the laugh…
Blessings aplenty,
and thanks for the blogroll!

Hi–thanks for the response to my comment on GRS; I came here to say that I know the feeling of not having space for stuff, or a work space! And the whole acquire but don’t/can’t find the time to use thing is SO common, just last night I was having a conversation with an acquaintence who said the same thing.
You mentioned going to ebay to sell off old hobby gear, I wonder if ETSY wouldn’t be better for that–a more focussed audience who might better understand the value of what you have for sale.

@Crystal: That’s OK. I had already found that one site months ago and I have no idea how I got there! My little girl’s dad calls it WILFing, as in, What was I looking for?
@Shanti: I never knew you could do so much with zucchini!
@elisabeth: You know, I have an Etsy account and I wasn’t even thinking about it when I posted that comment. Part of me wants to MAKE stuff to sell on there instead of selling off all my supplies. Sob.
Thanks for commenting, y’all!
